Brown/Macklin/McNally/Campbell Family History

Welcome graphic

Four emigrant familes from England, Scotland and Ireland left their birthplace in the mid 19th century for better lives in Australia.

As it happened, they had a shared destiny.

This site tells something of their background in the mother country and their struggle in the New World.

John Brown (Samuel Dagley) married Louisa Macklin in Melbourne. One of their many children was Abraham Brown.

Patrick Owen McNally married Mary Jane Campbell in Gippsland. Their only child was Mary Victoria McNally.

Abraham Brown and Mary Victoria McNally married in Temora.
